f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS expands product range at AERO 2025
Safe, Reliable, Easy communication, navigation and traffic avoidance
Visit f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS at this year’s AERO show in Hall B1 / Stand 102 and discover their latest range of products in the field of aircraft radio communication, handhelds and ground stations, as well as Mode S transponders for certified and ultralight General Aviation aircraft resp. airfield operators.
f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS’s Traffic Monitor TM350, a compact avionics module for air space monitoring and collision warning, which increases situational awareness, certainly continues to be a highlight of their product array. Through numerous SW updates, which have expanded the system continuously, the TM350 has now become very well established and popular in its market, especially in combination with the pre-configured Mode S Transponder TRT800H/A as a complete ADS-B-IN/OUT-system.
German avionics manufacturer f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS GmbH will present their expanded product family at the AERO 2025 show from April 9 through 12 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
Now, f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS even goes a step further in that it expands the TM350 more and more to be a central cockpit communication element in line with their motto ”Safe, Reliable, Easy“.
The display of weather related information is now being integrated into the TM350 product family. To this end, f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS have designed a weather station receiving weather data (METAR, TAF, precipitation radar) via internet and transmitting it in the frequency band 869,4 – 869,65 MHz. By way of an additional hardware component, this data is then received by the TM350W, integrated into the so-called GDL90 protocol, and thus displayed in the familiar navigation apps along with the traffic information. First weather stations will be installed in suitable locations inside Germany soon to enable this service being provided successively in various parts of the country. Already existing TM350 systems may be retrofitted accordingly should the need arise. Furthermore, it will soon be possible to connect a LIDAR sensor to the M350 so that the system may then also be used as a ”flare assistant”.
f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS’s Mode S Transponder TRT800, which has been in the market for over 20 years now, is presently being certified for professional ADS-B-Out retrofits in accordance with ETSO-C166b, and will presumably be available for purchase under the name of TRT800-II starting from the fall of 2025.
In the field of aircraft radio communication, a special ATR833-II Box Kit will be immediately available: a complete Plug-and-Play solution including the ATR833-II Box, a high performance display (available in OLED or LCD variants), and also including all necessary connector cables. This solution facilitates installtions and improves system compatibility.
Also available will be f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS’s GS7-II and GS8-II as upgraded versions of their popular GS7 transport case resp. the GS8 radio case, for example for hot air ballooning use. New functions also include a battery status reading as well as the possibility to attach a GPS source for the transmission of ADS-B signals.
Visit f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS at Stand 102 in hall B and be inspired! We are looking forward to seeing you.
