Electrifly-In Switzerland 2024
Preparations for the 8th edition of the Electrifly-In Switzerland on 7 & 8 September 2024 are in full swing. At the Federal Air Force Base at Bern Airport, Electrifly-In Switzerland will show flight enthusiasts and the general public the possibilities and achievements of modern flight technology over two days. The opening hours are as follows:
Saturday, 7th September 2024: 09:30 – 18:00 Sunday, 8th September 2024: 09:30 – 16:00
Together with the OC and the participating aviation experts, you can look forward to a varied programme.

eTalk and presentations?One of the highlights of the event, the eTalk, will be dedicated to the topic "Is the goal of net zero CO2 in aviation achievable by 2050?". The attractive eTalk will once again be hosted by Alex Miescher (www.alexmiescher.ch).
A top-class symposium with interesting presentation of the world of eFlying is also on the programme. The following interesting keynotes have been announced: the Swiss development teams Dufour Aerospace, ETH Zurich with the project “Cellsius” and Morell Westermann with the project “eForce”. AeroDelft from the Netherlands with the project “Phoenix” and Flux Aviation from Warwick/UK.
Exhibition and eTrophy?Developer teams and exhibitors from Switzerland and abroad will present the current status of their projects. SWISS and its partners in the field of sustainability and Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland are among those who have signed up. All exhibitors are looking forward to an interesting exchange with visitors and aviation fans in the exhibition hangar at the federal base.
The centrepiece fly-in with the award-winning eTrophy from the Gigawatt sponsor, Waterjet AG in Aarwangen, will of course also be part of the event weekend. The following fly-in window is available: 6.9.2024/14:00LT to 8.9.2024/ 12:00LT.
The organising committee is currently looking forward to the following registrations: e-Sling/ Jöel Meyer, Velis/Erik Fonseka, CH-750 Cruzer/Martin Seng and Elektra Trainer/Uwe Nortmann. The ranking ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon at 14:00.
eTasterflights and exchanges
The Pipistrel Velis Electro, which is enjoying great popularity, is once again on spot and etaster flights will be available. Register early, it's worth it.
A cosy catering will be available for a chat and to satisfy your hunger and thirst.
Shuttle service?In order to emphasise sustainability, we recommend that visitors travel to the event by public transportation. A shuttle service with e-cars is sponsored by KIA Schweiz AG. Pick-up is provided from Belp railway station, all car parkings and the main entrance to the airport terminal.
