First-ever new Warbird Propeller certified

MT-Propeller

The new 4-bladed Warbird MTV-4-1 MT-Propeller is certified by EASA TC EASA.P.501 for the use on the Twin Mustang F82 and was initially installed there, but it can be also installed on the P51.

By designing this brand-new propeller model, MT-Propeller have solved the problem that it is becoming increasingly difficult sourcing old airworthy propeller parts to keep those aircraft flying with their original propellers. The F82 has already accumulated many flying hours with the MTV-4, by flying across the US airshows.

By designing this brand-new warbirtd propeller model, MT-Propeller have solved the problem that it is becoming increasingly difficult sourcing old airworthy propeller parts to keep those aircraft flying with their original propellers.

The power rating of the MTV-4-1 is certified up to 2200 shp, this will cover most of the applications requiring such a propeller system.

The propeller looks like the original classic propeller, but the blades are made of the MT natural composite material with an aluminum hub and a steel spline adapter for the #50 spline. These blades are certified and tested for unlimited life.

Several propellers for Warbirds have already been manufactured.

This proves again the MT-Propeller philosophy - engineered by aviators for pilots - to make the best products available for the aviation community.

The FAA certification is in progress.
