Dornier DO 27 Series with 2-blade MT-Propeller

LBA STC granted

Atting, February 2018 - MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the LBA STC SA 1477 for the installation of the 2-blade constant speed propeller MTV-15-AA-C/ C249-42 on the Dornier DO 27 A-1, A-3, A-4, B-1, B-2, B-3, Q-1, Q-4, Q-5, Q-6 powered by the engine Lycoming, BMW, Piaggio GO-480-B1A6.



MT-Propeller has received the LBA’s STC for the installation of a 2-blade constant speed propeller on the Dornier DO 27.

MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer says, that the installation feature the following advantages:

- Enhanced climb performance up to approx. 5% (SL, ISA conditions)!

- Some Models comply with the strict German Noise Regulations “Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung” for unrestricted operation in Germany and other European Countries!

This new propeller is a cost-effective alternative to all existing propellers getting more expensive every year to be operated. By this customers can operate the aircraft with a reasonable cost. No ADs ect with this new composite prop.
